Klinge Corporation will be attending the world’s leading intermodal/container event, Intermodal Europe. Held in Rotterdam this year, the exhibition and conference will cover all areas of container transport and logistics across road, rail and sea.
Klinge Corporation will be promoting its new higher capacity Tank Container Refrigeration Unit Model TCR-110. The unit was developed in response to customer requests for a higher-capacity unit and delivers approximately 7 kW of cooling power at 0°C cargo (30°C ambient). It was built on the success of Klinge’s standard Tank Container Refrigeration Unit, Model TCR-109, which the company has been selling since the mid-2000’s, though which also has recently seen upgrades in its software and design.
Additionally, the company will be promoting a version of the 7kW TCR-110 to meet the EU’s ATEX standard, which stipulates that organizations must protect employees from explosion risk in explosive atmospheres. An explosive atmosphere is defined as a mixture of dangerous substances with air, under atmospheric conditions, in the form of gases, vapours, mist or dust in which, after ignition has occurred, combustion spreads to the entire unburned mixture. The standard is generally accepted to be the worldwide industry standard for safety.
The company will also be introducing dual versions of both of the above systems, recently made available to customers and already in use for transport of dangerous goods in the chemical market.
Intermodal Europe will be held from 15 – 17 November and will allow participants to hear presentations from industry leaders, attend over 40 conference sessions, and network with opinion leaders.
